2012 CBCB Research Symposium on
Bioinformatics & Systems Biology
Date: Thursday, May 24, 2012
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Place: Embassy Suites Newark
The goal of the 2012 CBCB Research Symposium is to showcase the Bioinformatics Network of Delaware (BiND) and provide a venue for bringing together CBCB affiliated faculty and students from over eleven departments across four colleges to foster idea exchanges and multidisciplinary research collaborations. BiND is a recently formed bioinformatics network of all Delaware INBRE institutions and was formed to more effectively serve the bioinformatics needs of the Delaware research and education community. The agenda will include a keynote from Mark Gerstein, Albert L. Williams Professor of Biomedical Informatics from Yale University, as well as invited talks from BiND members and CBCB affiliates.
While we are working to finalize the agenda, there is still room for additional short talks.
If you would like to provide a short talk, please email me your submission by April 2nd. If you would like to nominate someone for a short talk, please email me your suggestion and I can follow-up. After all submissions have been received, we will review and select the final participants.
Registration and poster submission is now open. Poster information must be submitted by Friday, May 11th. Abstracts of all invited talks and posters will be published in a program booklet.
