REU Internship Application

How to Apply:

There are two steps to apply for the Summer Intern Program at the College of Earth, Ocean, and Environment:
1. Submit the Electronic Application Form below (due by Friday, February 7, 2020) - This step must be complete before you will receive instructions for Step 2.
2. Upload the Supporting Documents as PDF files (directions for uploading these documents will be displayed once your Electronic Application Form is submitted) - All documents must be submitted by Friday, February 7, 2020.

The Supporting Documents consist of:
 - A current college transcript (unofficial transcripts are acceptable)
 - A letter of reference from a faculty member in your major (this should be uploaded by the recommender directly)

* Please note that applicants must be US Citizens or Legal Permanent Residents. In addition, they must be enrolled in a degree program leading to a bachelor's degree.  Students who will receive their degree prior to August 2020 are not eligible.

All students who are offered a position at this REU Site have until March 15th or later to accept or reject the offer. Any student who is asked to accept or reject an offer prior to March 15th should contact the Division of Ocean Science's REU Program Director, Lisa Rom at  elrom@NSF.gov or 703-292-7709.
