Delaware Sea Grant Named Among Best in Nation

The Delaware Sea Grant College Program, a statewide effort based at the University of Delaware’s College of Earth, Ocean, and Environment, has earned high honors from a national review panel. The program conducts scientific research, education, training and extension projects designed to foster science-based decisions about the use and conservation of our aquatic resources.

Researchers Find Substantial Wind Resource off Mid-Atlantic Coast

The wind resource off the Mid-Atlantic coast could supply the energy needs of nine states from Massachusetts to North Carolina, plus the District of Columbia--with enough left over to support a 50 percent increase in future energy demand--according to a study by researchers at the University of Delaware and Stanford University.
