Profs Advise U.S. Ocean Policy Commission

The U.S. Commission on Ocean Policy has released its preliminary report to the public. It calls for sweeping changes in how the nation's marine and coastal resources are governed. Carolyn Thoroughgood, dean of the College of Earth, Ocean, and Environment, and Biliana Cicin-Sain, director of the Gerard J. Mangone Center for Marine Policy -- members of the commission's Science Advisory Panel -- share their insights.
