Crab Cake Cook-Off
The deadline to submit entries to the 24th annual Coast Day Crab Cake Cook-Off is Friday, Aug. 9. Eight finalists will be selected to compete for cash prizes, a plaque, and an opportunity to return as a judge next year. The contest will be held at Coast Day, Sunday, Oct. 6, at the University of Delaware’s Hugh R. Sharp Campus in Lewes, Del.

5th Grade Essay Contest
The 5th Grade Essay Contest is designed to spark students’ interest in marine environments while teaching them how to research a topic and use that information to write an essay in their own words. The contest is open to any fifth grader in Delaware.
