How long have you been on the Atlantis? Third scientific cruise

How long have you been a scientist/crew member?
35 years

Where are you from? I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and live in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

What's the most unusual thing you've seen on cruise?

What's the strangest thing you've ever eaten? Welsh seaweed dish

What's the strangest thing that you have ever done? A supertanker almost hitting our vessel.

What's the scariest thing that's ever happened to you? Having a machine gun in my face in a foreign port.

If you didn't have this job, what would be your next job of choice? No answer since I had other postions before and left them for this.

What's the hardest thing to endure? 60 degrees (F) below zero on a mountain top.

What's the coolest place you've ever been? If you mean places visited, I have several -- Athens, Heraklion, Istanbul, safari in Kenya, Mombasa, Hawaii, Bergamo (Italy).
