Pacific Ocean

The eastern equatorial Pacific Ocean has been monitored by autonomous hydrophones (instruments that detect sound underwater) since May 1996 by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory. Earthquakes frequently occur in this region. In fact, recent earthquake activity in 2000–2001 is depicted on the map below in red. Can you locate our Extreme 2003 dive site on this map?
