CEOE faculty, students recognized for continued excellence

The following CEOE affiliated faculty, staff, and students are to be commended for their outstanding achievements.  For additional, aforementioned accolades, please visit our News archive. Submissions for accolades can be submitted to the Environmental Public Education Office.

Katharina Billups, was promoted to Full Professor in Oceanography.
Joe Farrell, Delaware Sea Grant Resource Management Specialist, was appointed to the Community Involvement Advisory Committee by Governor Markell.
Matthew Oliver, assistant professor of oceanography, was named a National Academy of Sciences Kavli Frontiers of Science Fellow.
Fallyn Smith, Sussex Technical High School Senior, was awarded a FFA Blue Ribbon at the Delaware State Fair for her Senior Project, “Salinity Tolerance of Seashore Mallow Genotypes During Seed Germination”. She will be entering as a freshman at UD this fall.
Marysia Szymkowiak, marine policy graduate student, received a NOAA Fellowship in Marine Resource Economics for 2013-2015.
