Undergraduate geological sciences majors who made the list for fall semester 2007 were invited to dinner with Dean Nancy Targett at the Blue & Gold Club on March 13. In a tradition that began in 2006, all College of Marine and Earth Studies (CMES) students who make the Dean’s List are invited to have dinner with the dean.
“We think it’s important for the students to be recognized for their academic achievements,” said Assistant Dean Frank Newton. “And Dean Targett likes to get to know them.”
Students on the Dean’s List earn a 3.33 grade point average or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Attending the dinner were Jason Barrowclough, Ashley Beers, Maggie Beird, Anna Bevan, Emily Cahoon, Cheryn Clark, Livia Montone, and Philip Morton.
