The Delaware Sea Grant College Program and Cape Gazette are partnering to bring coastal news to southern Delaware. Each month this summer, Cape Gazette is publishing info graphics — easy-to-read, eye-catching informational graphics on a variety of coastal topics produced by Delaware Sea Grant.
The graphics, called “Coastal News,” are aimed at increasing readers’ knowledge of regional coastal issues and resources and cover topics such as horseshoe crabs, helpful hints for fresh seafood shopping, rip currents, oyster gardening, and more.
Look for them in the Cape Gazette, which covers Delaware’s cape region — Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, Milton, and Dewey. In addition to the Cape Gazette twice-weekly newspaper, the infographics have appeared in the free Beach Paper.
You can also download them here. Currently the first two installments, on horseshoe crabs and seafood, are posted but additional graphics will be added as they become available.
