Each year, readers of Delaware Sea Grant’s annual report, Reporter, have the opportunity to take the publication’s readership survey and be entered to win the Coastal Prize Package.
This year’s lucky winner was Carol Walker of New Castle, Del. She will receive a bundle of goodies as part of the prize package, including a stay at the University of Delaware’s Virden Center in Lewes, a Coast Day Crab Cake Cookbook, and a UD shirt.
Reporter helps its readers learn about the many Delaware Sea Grant activities that help people from all walks of life wisely use, manage, and conserve our valuable coastal resources. It is published annually by Delaware Sea Grant and the University of Delaware College of Earth, Ocean, and Environment (CEOE).
The publication’s 2011 theme, “It’s About You,” puts the spotlight on different Sea Grant activities that benefit citizens, businesses owners, elected officials, community leaders, teachers, coastal residents, and natural resource managers throughout the state and nation.
