Alison Bates, marine policy graduate student – Was a finalist for a best poster award at the European Wind Energy Conference in Amsterdam.

Stephen C. Dexter, professor of marine biosciences – Was elected a Fellow of the National Association of Corrosion Engineers, the largest professional society devoted wholly to corrosion science and engineering.
