Andrew Madison, oceanography Ph.D. ’12 – Received an Outstanding Graduate Student Presentation Award at the Ocean Sciences 2012 meeting in Salt Lake City.
Marine Public Education Office – Recognized by the National Association of Press Women with three first prizes for a blue flag iris photo by Lisa Tossey; the Delaware Sea Grant website edited by Lisa Tossey and Tammy Beeson; and the DESG site visit briefing book by Tammy Beeson, Ron Ohrel, and Elizabeth Boyle. The office received second prize for Sea Grant Reporter and the 2011 Coast Day program and map.
