I began my studies at CEOE in June 2010 after earning a B.S. in Environmental Studies from Gettysburg College. I am interested in remote sensing of the ocean and biogeography of marine species.  Using satellite imagery and autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), I am characterizing shark habitats in the Atlantic Ocean. By combining shark locations from various telemetry platforms,  with ocean evironmental characteristics, I aim to better describe the environments sharks inhabit.
